• CLEAR AS A BELL VALUES

ENERGY AND LIGHTNESS - BALANCE - SOCIAL VALUE - ENJOYMENT!

I set up Clear as a Bell because I wanted to do consultancy differently, sharing more than consultancy reports. I wanted the freedom to use fully my experiences as a teacher, trainer, mentor, coach, team and strategic leader into any technical expertise I bring.

What that means is I want to create the conditions for you and your organisation to flourish - because it's you, your team, the people around you who will make your projects vibrant and successful. You will come away with skills and a culture-building kit that will allow you to make more impact.

Living these four values can make that happen together. They guide how we work together and how I want you to feel working alongside me and are reflected in the colours, images and words used to portray Clear as a Bell.

    Energy

Guided by lightness of touch, a galvanising force, pace, efficiency and effectiveness.

Storing energy is difficult of course, so it has to be constantly renewed and regenerated.

    Balance

Guided by a sense of perspective for clarity andindependent, forthright advice, grounded in the reality of what is for the bestdecision-making.

Curiosity, learning and acceptance are building blocks for balance to use as a springboard for problem-solving, innovation and progress.

    Social Value

Both are words with big meanings and, added together, could be overwhelming so I've broken it down into some simple principles (not 'easy', simple).

Guided by the principles of fair treatment, applicable results, what you get meets your expectations, working on projects that contribute to a better society and flourishing organisations.

This value also means I won't work on anything I consider to detract from social value.

    Enjoyment

Guided by building our relationship, liking the work, with a timetable that works for us both with anticipation through the process towards the results.

Enjoyment is often forgotten in the midst of busy times and deadlines. I love what I do and how it can help organisationsand people to flourish.

Realising I'm not enjoying the work is a wake-upcall to reset or stop, or make sure I don't take on similar projects in the future. It's a fair bet in that case that you won't have enjoyed the experienceeither.

We don't have to be best buddies but can collaborate effectively so everyone can enjoy the process of the work itself, which in turn will improve the quality of the outputs.
